Sarita Kamat

I am a postdoctoral visiting fellow at HBCSE. I am a biologist by training, with experience in microbiology and biochemistry of bacteria and fungi. I also have some industrial experience in the field of protein biology. I am currently a part of the Vigyan Pratibha team at HBCSE. Along with teammates, I facilitate discussion seminars with school teachers on Vigyan Pratibha learning units in science or topics of local context. I am also involved in creating content and video resources for various science topics, to help teachers and students in their journey of teaching and learning. I am interested in understanding the field of science education research and contribute to it. My parallel interest lies in bringing science to the public through science writing.
