In this unit, we will study the movement of particles occurring across the surfaces of objects made up of different shapes. Here, we will make different shapes using coloured wheat flour and immerse it into water. We will then see how the shape changes colour of the water.

Materials Required
Task 1: Water, Ink, transparent vessel
Task 2: Wheat flour, plate, 10 beakers/ plastic or transparent vessels,
food colour, plate
Task 3: Gelatin powder, 0.1N NaOH/ soap water, Phenolphthalein
indicator, 0.1N HCl/ lemon juice (2 medium sized lemon juice in a glass
of water), shallow container, measuring cylinder 100mL capacity
