Description

Have you ever jumped into a pond, well, or pool and felt lighter in the water than outside? Or tried pushing down a floating object like a tennis ball, only to feel it push back up and rise to the surface when you let go? In this learning unit, you’ll explore this upward force—called buoyancy—and discover why some objects float while others sink.
