Know Your Soil

Description

This unit aims at understanding that soil in different localities as well as within a small space has varying properties (texture, colour, porosity etc) which has impact on how the regions floods during monsoon, the stability of building and other construction, agricultural activities, etc.

Materials Required

Task 2:- 3 paper or plastic bags, funnel, 3 filter paper, tap water, litmus paper or turmeric paper, lemon juice or vinegar, Funnel, 2-3 Beakers/ test tubes
