We all look at the Earth’s only satellite, Our Moon and enjoy its beauty in the clear night sky. But instead of just looking, this unit aims to make the students “observe” the moon. The students will learn about the phases of the moon and what causes them, and will be able to understand why ‘moon-rise’ does not happen at the same time everyday. This unit introduces the students to basic astronomy.
